Old Wine in New Wineskins? Part 2

When I read that, my heart leapt because that’s exactly the mission of LK10 – equipping emerging house church leaders around the world to discover the “new wine”.  The new wine means taking seriously what Jesus taught about the Spirit (the Paraclete).  Learning how to listen to Him and letting Him direct our individual lives and our communities (churches).

This is what the LK10 Foundations courses (previously called The Apprenticeship) are designed to do – introduce house church people to the “new wine”.

Here’s a report from one of the participants last spring…

I’ve learned so much through this Apprenticeship!  I’ve learned how generosity, worship, prayer, mission, healing, church planting, family and parenting all flow from listening.  I feel like religious trappings have been shaken off, and what remains is truth, rest and freedom in Christ.  My relationship with the Spirit is real and spontaneous.  It’s His initiating and my responding and it’s beautiful and freeing.  Like a heavenly waltz.  So, I’m checking in once again, feeling joy in my heart!
