CO2 Day Twenty Five: The power of stories

Simply telling the story about what you are hearing from God is revolutionary.

Yesterday I shared in this blog the story of what the Lord had told me earlier in the month. He said, “I know you have a heart for Denver. I want you to begin to ask Me every day for a new “person of peace”. Specifically, for someone who is prepared for a CO2.” (This was a new variation on the Lk 10:2b prayer.)”

Marilyn in New Mexico read what I wrote and emailed this to Peg: I had been thinking about this before — how I hadn’t been praying for laborers and wanted to start doing that on a daily basis. That was one of the things that I liked about CO2. Would you mind if I write to you each day praying this? Jesus said that if any two agree that He will answer.

Peg responded to Marilyn: I sense in my heart the same thing, about praying together for laborers to be sent out into the harvest. The Lord spoke to me in my time alone today, and said, ”The harvest is ripe!” Let’s pray together daily, as you suggest, that the Lord continues to send laborers to the harvest…. First to send me, Second to send others to help me; Then that the Lord continues to send many others into the harvest.

“Lord, we agree with Marilyn and Peg in beseeching you to send out a multitude of harvest workers (apostolic church planters) throughout the state of New Mexico.”

Have you had any opportunities to share your story? Love to hear about it!
