CO2 Day Twenty Four: So, what are you hearing?

All of us are on the journey of learning to hear the Lord. One of the things I find very encouraging is examples of what others are hearing. So, as a member of The October Experiment, would you give us an example of something you’ve heard?

Here are some snippets from my journal…

Early in October. Papa: “I know you have a heart for Denver. I want you to begin to ask Me every day for a new “person of peace”. Specifically, for someone who is prepared for a CO2.” (This was a new variation on the Lk 10:2b prayer.)

10/20. Papa: “I want you to fix a special dinner for Tamela tonight. Go to the store and look for things you know she likes.” (I ended up with two little lobster tails, asparagus and cream puffs for desert. She liked it!)

10/23. Papa: “Think about what it would have been like to grow up in a “Love and Logic” home, a “Montessori” school and an “Eldredge” church.” Me: “That would have been amazing! To have been so well equipped to live from my heart.” Papa: “That’s what redemption looks like. Restoring the heart that I gave you. That’s what happens when wounded hearts are healed (Is. 61:1). The glory of God is man (you!) fully alive.” Me: “I’m in!”

Your turn. Click on “view comments” and tell us a story of something He has said to you. (That’s why this is called “Stories from the Revolution”!)
